First World Sportaccord Combat Games Coming Soon
The first Sportaccord Combat Games will be held in Beijing from August 28 to September 4, 2010. 106 countries and 2077 contestants will participate in the Games.
On March 26, 2009, in America, Beijing won the right to sponsor the first Sportaccord Combat Games. With a perfect preparation for over a year, Beijing has been ready for the Games.
The types of the Games are divided into two areas – martial arts and combating. Detailed items include: martial arts, aikido, boxing, judo, jiu-jitsu, karate, kendo, kickboxing, muay tai (Tai boxing), sambo, sumo, taekwondo and wrestling. National Stadium near the Bird Nest and Water Cube, stadium of Beijing University of Science and Technology and stadium of China Agriculture University will be the main grounds for the Games.
Don’t have any plan for your weekend or after-work time? The Games seems to be a good choice. Yet, there will be traffic control near the stadiums. Arranging your route early is necessary.
